What Is Banana Boat Sunscreen Used For?

Banana Boat is a sunscreen and helps prevent sunburn. If it is used as directed with other sun protection measures, it decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun. The Simply Protect version of the Banana Boat Sunscreen is available without Oxybenzone or Paraben. These ingredients may also pose health risks when they penetrate the skin, and have been linked to tissue damage and potential hormone disruption or cause cancer. Some scientists also say that sunscreen free of these ingredients (Oxybenzone or Paraben) are coral safe and eco-friendly. Apply the sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after drying with towel. Apply at least every 2 hours. Decrease the exposure to sun especially between 10 am to 2 pm. Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Ask a doctor before use on children under six months of age
