Cartia XT is a medication used for the management of effort long-term chest pain (stable angina) and treatment of mild to moderate blood pressure. Cartia XT belongs to the group of drugs called “calcium channel blockers” or “calcium antagonists”. Cartia XT relaxes the arteries, thereby lowering blood pressure.
