    Stiolto Respimat (Olodaterol/Tiotropium) is a combination prescription medication that is used to control and prevent symptoms such as wheezing and shortness of breath caused by ongoing lung disease. You can stay active by controlling symptoms of breathing. Stiolto Respimat contains two medications Tiotropium and Olodaterol. Tiotropium belongs to a class of drugs known as anticholinergics and Olodaterol is a LABA medication. Both of these medications are known as bronchodilators.

    What are the Possible Side Effects of Stiolto Respimat?


    The common side effects of this medication includes nervousness, shaking (tremor), trouble sleeping. The serious side effects may include:

    • Chest pain;
    • Difficult or painful urination;
    • Eye pain, swelling or redness;
    • Fast or irregular heartbeat;
    • Increased thirst or urination;
    • Muscle cramps or weakness;
    • Severe dizziness;
    • Vision changes

    Are there any Precautions or Drug Interactions for Stiolto Respimat?


    You should not use Stiolto Respimat if you are allergic to Olodaterol or Tiotropium or if you have any other allergies. Before you start using this medication, talk to your doctor about your medical history and about all the medications you are currently taking including OTC and herbal medications. Olodaterol may cause a condition that affects the heart rhythm (QY prolongation). Low levels of potassium or magnesium in the blood may also increase your risk of this condition. Stiolto should only be used during pregnancy if it is clearly needed. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before breast-feeding a baby. Stiolto Respimat should not be used by anyone younger than 18 years old.

    Stiolto Respimat should be stored at room temperature away from light and moisture and out of reach of children and pets. This medication should not be stored in the bathroom. Do not freeze this medication.
