Cefzil (Cefprozil) is a prescription medicine used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, such as bronchitis, infections of the skin, ears, sinuses, throat, and tonsils. The active ingredient in the Cefzil tablet is Cefprozil. Cefprozil belongs to the class of medicine called the second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
