What is Orbenin Used for?

Orbenin (Cloxacillin) is a prescription medicine used to treat a variety of bacterial infections (such as infections of the skin, bone, heart valve, blood, and lung). The active ingredient in the Orbenin capsule is Cloxacillin. Cloxacillin belongs to the group of medicine called penicillin. It works by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall. It inhibits the third and last stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis resulting in the death of the bacterial.
