What Is Theodur Used For?

This medication is used for the treatment of breathing problems such as bronchitis, asthma, and emphysema. It helps to open up the air passages in the lungs and prevents wheezing as well as shortness of breath. Theodur should not be used in case of acute shortness of breath. Use a rescue inhaler instead.

What Are The Possible Side Effects Of Theodur?

Some of the common side effects of Theodur include unexplained digestive problems, or stomach problems, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, loss of appetite, stomach pains, diarrhea, black stools or blood in stools, unexplained changes general well-being such as mood changes including nervousness, restlessness, irritability, difficulty sleeping, confusion, memory problems, dizziness, unusual tiredness or weakness, trembling or twitching of muscles, convulsion (seizures). Some other side effects include hearing changes (ringing or buzzing in ears), vision changes (Seeing flashes of light), unusual fast breathing, unusually fast or pounding heartbeat, fever, flushing, extreme flushing, extreme thirst or unusual decrease or increase in urination.
