This medication inhibits the enzyme called carbonic anhydrase and thus helps to reduce the production of watery secretion of the eye, which helps to decrease the pressure. Use the eye drops exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose is one drop of Trusopt in the affected eye(s) in the morning and in the evening.
