Ultibro Breezhaler (Indacaterol/Glycopyrronium Bromide) is a combination medication that is used for the maintenance treatment of COPD including emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Glycopyrronium belongs to the group of medications known as anticholinergics. Indacaterol belongs to the group of medications known as long-acting bronchodilators. Ultibro Breezhaler works in different ways to relax the muscles in the walls of the small air passages in the lungs. This keeps the air passage open and makes it easier to breathe. The recommended adult dose of Glycopyrronium-indacaterol is one capsule once daily.
What are the Possible Side Effects of Ultibro Breezhaler?
The common side effects may include cough, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, nausea, skin rash, itchiness, sore throat, upset stomach and vomiting. The serious side effects may include:

• High blood pressure;
• Irregular heartbeat;

You should use Ultibro Breezhaler if you are allergic to Indacaterol/Glycopyrronium Bromide or if you have any other allergies. This medication may increase your blood sugar levels and glucose tolerance may change. Glycopyrronium may cause symptoms of glaucoma to worsen. Kidney disease or reduced kidney function may cause this medication to build up in body which may cause side effects. This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks. It is not known if Glycopyrronium-indacaterol passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before breastfeeding a baby. There may be an interaction between Glycopyrronium-indacaterol and other medications such as alfuzosin, amantadine, amiodarone, atomoxetine, azelastine, betahistine, caffeine, domperidone, donepezil and quinine, etc.

Ultibro Breezhaler should be stored at room temperature between 15-25 degrees Celsius away from moisture and out of reach of children. This medication should not be stored at a temperature above 25 degrees Celsius.
