What is Clindesse Used for?
Clindesse (Clindamycin phosphate) belongs to the class of antibiotics known as lincomycins. It acts by slowing or preventing bacterial development. Clindesse 2% Vaginal Cream is used to treat bacterial vaginosis in non-pregnant women (also known as Haemophilus vaginitis, Gardnerella vaginitis, nonspecific vaginitis, Corynebacterium vaginitis, or anaerobic vaginitis).
