What is Motegrity used for?

Idiopathic means the cause of the constipation is unknown. This medication is used to treat constipation when the use of other medications such as laxatives has not provided relief. Motegrity works by improving the ability of your stomach and intestines to move food through the bowel during the digestion process. Motegrity starts working as soon as you take it but you might see its effect in one or more days. Patients who participated in clinical studies of Motegrity were able to completely empty their bowels within 1 to 4 days of taking the medication. It is not known if Motegrity is safe and effective in children. Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose is one Motegrity tablet each day. It can be taken with or without food. You may also buy Resotran.
