    What are the Possible Side Effects of Pradaxa?

    The common side effects may include easy bruising or minor bleeding. Inform your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects such as:

    • Bloody black tarry stools;
    • Coughing up blood;
    • Persistent or frequent nosebleeds;
    • Pink or dark urine;
    • Prolonged menstrual flow;
    • Severe headache, dizziness and fainting;
    • Unusual easy bruising;

    You should not take Pradaxa if you are allergic to Dabigatran or if you have any other allergies.     Pradaxa should be stored at room temperature between 59 degrees F to 86 degrees F or 15-30 degrees celcius. Unused Pradaxa should be thrown away after four months. Pradaxa should be kept in the original bottle or blister package to keep it dry.
